My classmates always ask me why did I have so much knowledge on Geography and history. "Just Go Travelling." I reply. When I was young, my parents took me to every place they could go for travelling, while some neighbor always criticize their behavior about bring me out so much instead of demanding me studying in the vacation. But my mum still believe going travelling is a better way to get knowledge than reciting the lifeless picture and "dead information" on the books. In my opinion, some field trips is better for students' education. Students may get these parts of knowledge more easier and understanding it better throughout the filed trip. In another words, children may have difficulties in understanding and reciting knowledge in the books, and a lively field trips can help them. Take an example of one of my friend, she always got the first score in history in her class, while she never do any homework and do not have any extra class. And all of her history study is benefit from her voluntary works in the local museum. Every week, she stay in the museum as a volunteer guide getting knowledge from visitor and the professor in the museum. She has no difficulty understanding what teachers says in class, and always match the school's knowledge with the exhibitions she has seen in the museum. An reasonable field trips can also relax the children from the boring school's study. They can play and have some enjoyment with the exhibitions and the guide's words. However, study at school can not be lacked as for a child. They must get some basic knowledge and the knowledge they cannot get from the filed trips in school. So there is an old saying," Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles."
