I agree with this statement, I think workers will be more satisfied if they have many different types of tasks to do during the work day. 

First of all, if you do the similar tasks all day long, you will get bored very soon. For example, There are two mission you can choose, one is drawing a 500 apples. The other is drawing a painting about apples. which one do you choose. In my opinion, drawing a hole picture in much interesting  than drawing 500 apples. Same as working, a colorful job will make sure that your hole day is wonderful and new.

Secondly,always doing the same thing is waste your own time. make another example. You are prepering the Math quiz ,will you practice the same type of Math question? If I were you, I will choose the question that I used to make mistake, base of this situation, I will find another  same-point question to solve. If you do the same work all day long, you can only learn a few things, different as you do the different task, you will learn  many things from many fields.

A study report shows that there were 63.5% people In china did the same work every day, most of them were engineer, driver and so on. There are 86.6% people felt bored and want to quit this   job. In this case , Is not hard to find that the same work make your life boring and darkness. However, the rest of the people said that they enjoy  every day because every day is a new one  with full of challenge  to them. They maybe gain the knowledge ,friendship or something ales.

As the result, I agree with"Workers are more satisfied when they have many different types of tasks to do during the workday than when they do similar tasks all day long." this statement.
