Nowadays parents are becoming more and more anxious with childrens' study. There are fierce debate between going on field trips is better and studying in th classroom is better. Personally, I recommend to go on field trips for two reasons as following. First of all, going on field trips help students understand better both academic knowledge and practical life knowledge. For instance, a science museum experience enable children to view specific academic knowledge, such as heavenly and terrestrial motion, in a lively way, like make the motion into a model or short video. In this way, the abstract knowledge can be better understand by students with the help of models or video and also leave a deep impression on them. Moreover, the experience from field trips can also teach more than just academic knowledge. It also teaches students how to do experience and what they should pay attention for. As students are not old enough to be as careful as adults, only ture experience is able to catch students' attention on some important details. What''s more, going on field trips can stimulate students' interests in learning and form a virtuous cycle. For instance, I fell in love with astronomy after going to the Chinese Astronomy Museum. The interesting experience of imitating floating with no gravity made me notice that astronomy not only had boring academic knowledge but was also full of mysteries, waiting to be exploited. From then on I read many related books and magazines and become active in studying with no complaint as before. Going on field provides us with direct reflection on knowledge. It will greatily improve the initiation of students to study and have long term benefits. In conclusion, going on field trips encourages children to study and stimulate their interests, whileas in-class study forces children to learn. Comparatively, study on field trips have more positive influence for children's whole life. And as the old saying 'Interest is the best teacher.', I believe that going on field trips is a better choice for children's education.
