Firstly, In reading passage the author think that the vessels found in Iraq in 1938 were not use electric batteries in ancient times. However in the listening the professor disagree this opinion, because according to the read passage, the author think that if they were used as batteries, they would have been attached to some electricity conductors. But the professor say this discovery was made by local people along with some other materials. They don't no what is important things, they could throw important things.

Secondly, the author in the reading think that the vessels were used for holding scrolls. But the professor says  It is possible the vessels may be origin design to scrolls. However ancient inventor discover, if the vessels were used with iron rod and some liquid, it can made electricity. 

Finally, the author of the reading passage think that the vessels would have been completely useless for ancient people because they don't have devices need electricity. However the professor think it could be use for cure. In modern society doctor use batteries to stimulate muscle. In ancient times people could also do.
