Today, an issue that has given much debate is over whether or not people will spend less time cooking and preparing food in twenty years then they do today. I agree with such a statement. With comprehensive thinking, I get several reasons to support the statement. First, today the techniques are developing quicking for beyond our imagination. We cannot imagine which advanced tools will be invented and used in our life. With these tools, people could cook more convenient and save more on the cooking process. My uncle teddy provides a case in point. Twenty years ago, there was not so much smart electric tools to help him. When he was doing rice, he needs to stand in front of the electric pot to wait for it. He always worried the pot might make the rice flop. However, after twenty years, today the smart pot could determine whether the rice is finished and prevent failure. At that time, Teddy could do a lot of other things for lunch. That could help him save a big amount of time. Except for these smart tools, there are many other things to help people preparing food. More and more stores and supermarkets sell semi-finished food which could help people avoiding part of the difficult and complex process of cooking. That could save time on preparing food. Take an instance, when we want to eat barbecue at home. We need to buy the meat, wash and cut it, pre
