I  believe going on field trips is better for children’s education based on these reasons.
The first on is about our education.Education isn't about how to let the children to be an test taker and always be tested, but for children to get more knowledge, get more progress in their cognition to the world. If we just only  study in the classroom,children's imagination will be limited, and that isn't our purpose while we started.

And the missed in imagination also will effect  children's ability in academic, such as write essay without any vivid sentence but some useless paragraph, only have opinions that are same or very similar of the opinion on books. etc.

But the things can not go on like this forever, if you prefer to study in field trips, children will get some thing significant than the books.For examples :children can real see what is those mountain really looks like, children also can hear what is the sound that bees really make.

Also, children can make friend with each other in the kind of learning. This kind of friends is difference from the friends in the classroom. In the class room we always make friends with the person who can benefited, in the outdoors, we make the real friends,the person who really care about you.

Based on these a few reasons , I agree with the opinions that to going on field trips is better for children’s education than stay in the classroom.
