In this technologically advanced society, the infrastructure in our daily life is crucial, especially the internet and the public transportation. Some people commonly believe that the government should spend money to improve the internet access because the internet we use in daily life is demanded. However, from my perspective, I believe that the government should spend more money to develop the public transportation because the public transportation is more significant in economic, environment and convenience of people.
First of all, the government spend money to support the public transportation would effect the economic of city. On one hand, the government should buy more buses and build more bus stations to improve the public transportation. People therefore could gain more job opportunity about the public transportation because they need drivers. On the other hand, the government develop the public transportation could also attract more people from the suburban area and these people could be offer some job positions, which they could improve the economic rate.
Secondly, the government spend money on the transportation also have benefits on environment due to the fact that the people would like to ride the public transportation instead of the private car if the public transportation is comfortable and convenient enough. For example, if the public transportation is comfortable and convenient, I think people would not ride the personal car to go somewhere. Besides, if people want to go for a long trip, the public transportation is definitely better than private car. Therefore, the government is necessary to support the public transportation instead of the internet access. 
Some people would argue that the government support the internet access is better because recently the demand of the internet is increasing. However, the internet access in nowadays is quiet excellent
