The government plays an important role in our lives, and how the government use the money is very controversial. In my opinion, it is important for government to spend money to improve public transportation than to improve Internet access.

To begin with, in some areas, public transportation is more important than internet access. For example, the rural countryside and villages which are able to be out date compared with the cities. Because of the little money and low level of technology, there may be few computers and smart phones, which means that improving internet access is not necessary for the people who live there. However, there also be little beautiful and convenient roads. If public transportation could be improved, they will gain more chances to communicate with outside and improve other aspects, such as economy, culture and education.

Additionally, in the big cities, public transportation is also significant. With the development of technology and economy, the level of people's lives has been improve, more and more people have their own cars, so that the traffic jam become increasing serious, and the air pollution made by waste gas is bad for people's health. If government spend more money on public transportation, people would choose it rather than their own cars, so that both traffic jam and air pollution would be reduced.

Finally, improving internet access is also important, but nowadays the internet access is convenient and fast enough for most people, it is unnecessary for government to continue to improve internet access. In contract, there are many problems on public transportation need to be solved.

In conclusion, public transportation is more important in some areas, and it can solve the traffic jam and air pollution, improving internet is unnecessary. So I believe that it is important for government to spend money to improve public transportation than to improve internet access.
