CONTEST INTRODUCTION

You: young and loving, creative, longing for your future, responsible. Maybe you have participated in business competitions,social practices, charity donations, but transnational public welfare challenge is a brand new form of competition.
In September of 2015, 193 members of the UN passed the bills for 17 sustainable development goals, for the purpose of solving multiple social, economical and environmental development problems around the world in 2030. This competition will positively influence the three proposals of the “UN sustainable development goals”, which include: “eradicate hunger”, “good health and well-being” and “high quality of education”.

  • Master Review

    Renowned professors from prestigious universities such as University of Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, New York University and Dartmouth College will serve as the judges and mentors for all participating teams; Professionals from the UN, international organizations, World’s top 500 corporations, investment funding industry and charity organizations will join the jury and provide specific guidance to all participants during different stages of the competition.

  • Authority Certification

    The organizing committee will present to the winning team and participant the international charity award as well as the voluntary service certificate. Meanwhile, outstanding participants of the competition will be presented awards that include “Excellent Advocate”, “Campus Pioneer” and “Positive Contributor”. All certificates and corresponding awards are signed and issued by the organizing committee and professionals from international organizations to record youth development and charity footprints.

  • Media Communication

    To the openness and transparency of the event, the competition will be covered by Wechat, Weibo, the official website and corresponding charity channels and websites to record all participating teams and participants; the organizing committee will recommend the winning plans as well as other outstanding plans to be included in the Media Broadcast Cases Research Library of Peking University and Tsinghua University; this event will consist of participants from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Chengdu, Hong Kong, as well as countries such as the United States, Britain, Germany, Australia and Africa to strengthen foreign communication and expand international influence.

  • Star Power

    Chinese celebrities such as Huang Xiaoming, Angelababy, Huang Bo and TFBoys will support the “Africa and China Hand In Hand” international charity event. At this event, the organizing committee will invite relevant celebrities to cheer for the teams in the final stage of the competition and raise the levels of attention towards the development of Africa and charity in Africa.

  • Excellent Inspirational

    Youth is the determining factor in the sustainable development of the UN. The organizing committee will arrange for the winning team to visit the UN organizations in Beijing and the African Embassy in China and have face-to-face communication with the UN and African officials; Meanwhile, winning participant will have the opportunity to be a part of the organizational public welfare mission and visit Africa to inspect projects, visit charities and participate in corresponding international meetings at the UN headquarters in person.
